POLLICA 2050
Because of more facilities, for convenience, for work or for school, families have started to move to large cities and some municipalities are likely to disappear. A phenomenon that not only affects Italy, but threatens biodiversity and causes the degradation of a cultural and environmental heritage of inestimable value.
Paideia Campus works within the community to build the Pollica of the future
- Creating jobs and wellbeing by promoting the development of new entrepreneurship capable of enhancing local knowledge and values
- Seasonal adjustment of tourist flows
- Promoting Smart Living to counteract the depopulation of villages with digital infrastructure and services (fiber, electric mobility, energy efficiency, circular living...)
- Combating educational poverty and social marginality and preventing early school leaving
Partnership for the goals
The Paideia Campus collaborates and co-creates opportunities through a network of like-minded partners who all work for the regeneration of this area.
RESEARCH
Research and experimentation within a programme of social cohesion, which will be realized through the establishment of a community cooperativecreated to regenerate the social fabric, a prerequisite for solid and coherent community development. The cumulative transformative impact is measured through the 3D Impact Tool, developed by Tim Strasser fromMaastricht University, and will focus on 3 dimensions::
- WIDTH - wide and consistent influence: the geographical extent to which the impact was generated
- LENGTH - persistent and evolutionary reproduction: how long this impact has been generated and maintained
- DEPTH - structural and cultural roots: how deeply this change has penetrated the social and cultural structure
