On 16 and 17 May in Pollica will be held the certified course of First Aid and BLS-D in Pollica.
The course is divided into two parts:
Tuesday, May 16 theoretical lesson, online, from 9 am to 13 and from 14 to 19;Wednesday, May 17 practical lesson in presence at the Castello dei Principi Capano from 14.30 to 18.30.
This course will provide you with "life-saving" skills that can be useful in times of emergency and everyday life.
During the first aid course, you will learn the set of interventions, maneuvers and actions, carried out by a trained and instructed worker who is facing a medical emergency and must provide the injured person with first aid and emergency medical assistance pending the arrival of medical personnel.
During the course Bls-d you will learn:
- the basic resuscitation sequence in the adult in respiratory and/or cardiac arrest;
- the correct manoeuvres to be carried out in the event of obstruction of the airways by foreign body, infant, child and adult;
- knowledge and skills related to the use of the external semiautomatic defibrillator.
